Revamp your Entryway

Entryway or Hallway is commonly known as "Corridor" or "Passage" in Naija. However, most entryways are neglected but it should reflect your personality because that is the first place anyone sees when coming into your home. They instantly tell you so much about the person who lives in there.
Regardless of the size of your entryway , which is usually small in most cases. It should be functional, clean, beautiful and reflective of your style and personality.




10 Tips for revamping up your Entryway
1.De-clutter your Entryway: It should be clear of shoes and slippers. If you have to, you can place a shoe rack on the entryway and arrange your shoes on it.




2.Bold Colors: You can be bold with the paint colors on the entryway. This is to distinguish  it from the inside of the apartment or house.

3.Bold Wallpapers can be used in the entryway, to add a WOW factor to your space. You can reduce cost by putting wallpaper on one wall and painting the other walls with coordination colors.

4. Shelves can be used to display plants or artwork. Hooks can be placed on the wall to hang umbrellas or other items.

5.Small tables can multitask as storage and a place for keeping keys and mails.

6.Accessories like mirrors, vases, wall art can make the space look inviting.

7. Hang a memo board on the wall and photos of the family on trips or school photos of the kids.

8.Storage benches or ottomans can be used for both storage and seating.

9. Replace standard light fittings with a decorative one so it serves as a focal point.

10. Artwork can be placed on the walls letting your hallway feel like one is stepping into a gallery or a clock on the wall to let you know what time you come in and go out and for aesthetic.
