Car Interior Design... How stylish is your car interior?

Cars are not just for transportation, we spend a number of hours in them before getting to our destination. So we need to transform the entire driving experience or journey if you aren't driving personally.  Based on that the car interior design needs to be given more consideration.

The car interior design should reflect your personality and style.

Car Interior Design Ideas

First consider the comfort, beauty, entertainment and most importantly the safety of the car.

The car should be in good working condition before considering the interior design of the car.

1.Comfort: To increase the comfort of the car, the car seat covers and seat firmness should be considered. Soft car seats may be comfortable for a while but after it has been used over a long period of time, may not be so comfortable. Choose car seats which are firm and comfortable, which is important especially when travelling long distance. The type of seat covers also determine the comfort of the car seat. Leather car seat covers are luxurious ,attractive and easy to clean, but can be uncomfortable during hot or extreme cold weathers. However, cloth seat options have a lot of color options and hardly affected by the weather but are difficult to clean and maintain.

2.Entertainment: Road trips can be boring to drivers or passengers especially if there are no beautiful scenery to view while on the road.Based on that car interior designs include entertainment. Music gadgets are good entertainment provided it isn't too loud and distracting. For those who can afford it, TV screens can be installed at the back of the front seats backrest, for the rear passengers to enjoy or drop down screens from the car ceiling for the entertainment of all the back passengers. Please note all forms of entertainment shouldn't distract the driver.

3.Personality and Style: The car owner's car should reflect the car owners personality.The dashboard, steering wheel, floor mats and door panels can be decorated to reflect the owner's style. The steering wheel can be covered with a cover that has a firm grip, the floor mats should be such that doesn't intervene with the accelerator and brake pedals. The choice of car fragrance makes a statement. You can always get a car vacuum cleaner to remove dirt when necessary.

As promised, I said I will post a recipe once a week. Was still trying to decide on what recipe to start with, until I got an order for Oha soup. Thanks dear for the order( WINK), I hope you liked it. I have decided to share the recipe.

Oha soup as pronounced by people from Imo and Abia or Ora soup as pronounced by Anambra people, is a delicacy of the eastern part of Nigeria.

GUIDE Exhibition 2014 was superb

The GUIDE Exhibition 2014, hosted by Interior Design Association of Nigeria ended with a blast at the Eko Hotel Convention Center, VI. It was a two day affair with Private Screening on the 10th of May, 2014 and general exhibition on the 11th of May, 2014.
