Christmas Decorating Ideas

Countdown to Christmas. It isn't too early to start decorating for the season.
In most homes, it is all about the Christmas tree. Making a choice of Christmas tree is based on individual preference. As for me, the taller the tree the better. The number of trees you have is a matter of choice.
1. Christmas Tree
You can have a statement tree placed in an obvious corner of the sitting room with ornaments and gifts placed under the tree. Also you can add smaller trees on shelves or entertainment units.
Ornaments used can vary in color or design, an eclectic mix of ornaments can be used or just one color of ornaments.

2. Use of Garlands
The use of garlands can draw attention to your ceiling. You can use them on a noticeable door or window. You can use as many as you want, it makes the room look luxurious and welcoming.

3. Lighting
Christmas lights can be used on the Christmas tree or placed around the room.

So get out your Christmas tree and start decorating. Compliments of the season.....

How to make your sitting room look expensive

Why not class things up this festive season and make your home look expensive.
Here are tips on how to create that WOW factor.
1. Large Wall Art
Purchase a large wall art on the wall. There are cheaper options that look expensive and affordable.

2. Create an Illusion
Use a large area rug like a shaggy rug, to create an illusion of a bigger space.
