I and my husband shared
our bedroom at night with each of our children for a little over three months.
Thanks to me, the idea of breastfeeding at night and having to go to a separate
bedroom was tiring.
Ladies I guess you feel me (LOL), however I knew it was a
temporary solution, and, as such, no decor changes were made to our bedroom.
But what if there is no other nursery waiting for your little bundle of joy? What do you do?
TIPS
1. Use one simple color throughout to unify the space.
Neutral colors are great choices because it allows you to add pops of fun colors
with accessories.
2. Add a statement piece on the wall where the baby cot is
located .Eg butterflies, animals
3. Choose accessories that coordinate with the existing
color palette of your space.
4. Use a wallpaper print that works well for both baby and
parent alike.
5. Choose a fun color for the accents in the nursery area of
the room, and match it with your bedding and pillows.
6. You can divide the space into two separate areas with a furniture.
7. Go for a clean and
airy feel.
8. Add a few fun and colorful wall decals above the crib.
9. Get a crib that coordinates with your bed and existing
furniture.
10. You can hang a fun and colorful mobile above the crib.
