The CEO Round table Session organised by IDAN( Interior Designers Association of Nigeria) was a  memorable and informative session. Industry professionals got to learn and share issues relating to our Industry and the way forward to building our brands to become VISIBLE, DISTINCTIVE and CONSISTENT. Mr Kenneth Esere the Director of Media at The Pan Atlantic University  was on point and sure delivered, alongside Mr Arek Bawa. We all left ready to take on the world of Interior Design. How to choose a paint color confidently

Ever wondered what wall paint color to choose when repainting your home. For some it can be overwhelming, however for me before the end of each year, I already have a new color scheme for my home and yes with the same furniture or furnishings, though I may change a few things ie. throw pillows, wall art etc so as to match the new color scheme. Well here are a few tips on how to confidently choose wall paint colors for your home.

1. Access your existing furniture and furnishings. Pick out a wall art, sofa,rug or any other accessories you like and pick out a color as a main color or accent color and decide on the color scheme you want. For example, if you pick out a wall art, look for a color or colors that will work together and tie in with your wall art.

Harvesters Church Office Revamp

Okay, December till date has being hectic. Jenniez Design in partnership with UBM Space design collaborated to revamp our church office Harvesters International Christian Center, in preparation for our Winepress 2016, which has being explosive. It was indeed an interesting collaboration as myself and Jay the Creative director of UBM had to come up with ideas for the church office. It was indeed a show of talent and creativity. But it was really fun working with Jay. Check out pictures of spaces revamped, although work is still in progress but I'm loving the revamp. Looking forward to more of these collaboration in future. Hint Hint: UBM Space Design, Blue Mahogany. LOL

2016...Happy New Year

Hello All, first I want to wish all my readers a wonderful and prosperous 2016. So sorry for the long absence, the end of the year was hectic as expected. Thank God for his mercies and grace. However, I still had you all in mind. Thanks to all those who kept asking for more home tips on the blog, it shows my blogging is appreciated. I promise to do more this year by keeping you all informed on the latest trends.

Happy Mother's Day... Dedicated to my MUM

Mother’s Day is one holiday that I really like. It’s because I love mothers – all mothers. I love my mother, my mother-in-law, my aunts and every mom I see with her child. I love how mom’s are the heart of the home and therefore they shape the world. I’m honored to be part of this club.

I have the pleasure of working with a lot of moms. They invite me into their homes and  I get to know them in a very special way. I meet new moms, mom’s of teens and mothers whose children may have left the nest but are held close in their heart. All these moms want to make the best home they can for their families. I admire that.

From my own Mother I learned the difference between a house and a home. A house is a structure or a building, but a home is full of love and laughter and acceptance. We didn't live in a large house, and we never had the latest trends, but our home was something special.

I know how it feels when friends, family or a new person comes into my home and compliments my home. Guess you also know that feeling too.

 Let's make it a habit of complimenting other people's home, no matter the tiny details, by spreading the love. Funny enough it was compliments I got from 10 lovely ladies who came into my home for the first time, that made me start my own Interior Design business, especially my blog. Today, I can proudly say they are like my SISTERS.  Love U Lots.

OK, it is a new year and one should access one's career path. Are you happy in your career path, do you hate your job or have you being thinking of what business to do. Well, this is the time to access and follow your passion. However most people are confused on what their passions really are.



Well, here are tips to show you if a career in Interior design is for you.
Interior designers are creative yet logical thinkers who understand what it takes to pull a room together into a cohesive, beautiful and most importantly a functional space.
